We are here to unite Democratic women, to encourage full participation by women in the Democratic party, and to promote the causes of the Democratic Party.
OUR ISSUES
CIVIL RIGHTS
The Arizona Federation of Democratic Women works to ensure that the government preserves the rights of all people no matter their race, creed or gender. This includes fighting against discriminatory hiring and compensation practices in the workplace.
EDUCATION
We believe that every child has the right to a free public education. We encourage members to get involved and run for school boards all across the state.
HEALTHCARE
We believe a woman has the right to choose to keep her healthcare decisions between her and her healthcare provider.
ENVIRONMENT
We believe climate change is very real. Since we only have one planet we call home, then we had better take care of our air, water and land.
DIVERSITY
We embrace diversity and include women from all races, nationalities, backgrounds and walks of life. All these qualities make life so much more interesting and enrich our lives.
